What is the main difference between each Cottage?
The main differences between each cottage type are their sea and sunset views, proximity to the beach and, access to a private pool.

How far away are the Cottages from the beach?
All accommodations are beachfront. No unit is more than a minute or two away from the beach.
Approximately how big are the rooms?
The size of each cottage varies but for reference, each room is large enough to accommodate a king size four-poster bed, furniture and free movement.
In terms of furniture, what is included in each room?
Each room contains a king size four poster-style bed fitted with mosquito net, a chest of drawers, a full-size mirror, a study table with a chair, two nightstands, two bedside lamps, and a table. The private balconies have a hammock, Adirondack chairs and a table.
Do you have any twin beds in the rooms?
No, all cottages are outfitted with a king size four poster-style bed.
Is it possible to have a second bed in the room?
Due to the couples concept of the resort, we can only accommodate one king size four poster-style bed per room.
Are the outdoor showers private?
Yes, all showers have privacy walls.
Can I be guaranteed a specific room?
Due to the boutique nature of the hotel, we are unable to guarantee a specific room prior to arrival, but we would be happy to make a special note of your preferences.
Can we upgrade our room?
Yes, you can upgrade your room at an additional charge. Contact Reservations for assistance.
How much would it cost to upgrade?

What room type would you suggest if I had a disability that requires a wheelchair?
Unfortunately, Keyonna Beach is not an accessible property.

Are all drinks, (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) part of the all-inclusive menu?
Yes, Keyonna Beach rates are inclusive of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
I don’t drink alcohol, can I opt out of this and get a lower rate?
No, the hotel only offers rates that are inclusive of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Is it possible to book breakfast only?
No, the hotel only offers rates that are inclusive of all meals, snacks and drinks. Check our sister property Conch Beach Cabins for bed and breakfast type lodging.
Is it possible to book room only without food?

Does the rate include airfare?
The rates on the hotel’s direct website do not include airfare. You will have to book a flight separately. See our flights page for help.
Does the rate on your direct website include taxes?
Yes, the rates on the direct website include all taxes.
Can a private transfer be arranged?
Yes, our reservations team can arrange a private transfer for you.
GETTING HERE
What airport do I fly into?
VC Bird International Airport. Our Airport Code here in Antigua is ANU.
Is there a shuttle service to the hotel?
The resort does not offer a shuttle service however, you can arrange a private meet and greet transfer directly with the resort or take a taxi from the airport.
How far is the hotel from the airport?
The hotel is approximately 45 minutes away from the airport.
How can I get a taxi to the hotel?
Upon arrival, there will be a public taxi dispatch desk across the driveway as soon as you exit the airport terminal. Advise the dispatcher that you will be going to Keyonna Beach Resort, and you will be assigned a taxi to transport you to the resort.
The cost is US $45.00 per couple. The transfer should take 45 minutes and it may involve sharing a taxi with other arriving guests.
Can a taxi be arranged in advance?
No advance arrangement is needed as taxis are readily available at the airport.
How much does it cost to take a taxi to the hotel?

Can a private transfer be arranged?
Yes, our reservations team can arrange a private transfer for you.
What type of vehicles are used for the Private Transfer?
SUVs are used for Private Transfers.
How do I identify the driver from the Private Transfer company?
Once you exit the airport terminal, the driver from the Private Transfer company will be holding a sign with your name and flight details.
What is the cost of a Private Transfer?
Private Transfers costs US $90.00 one way or US $180.00 round-trip, per couple.
FOOD & DRINK
Do you cater for Vegans?
Yes, vegan meals are available on our menu and can be made upon request.
How many restaurants do you have?
Keyonna Beach has one Restaurant.
The restaurant is a multi-tiered, open-air facility that is large enough to accommodate all guests at the same time with the hotel 100% occupied.
Do you offer buffet service?
No, all meals and snacks at the resort are served a la carte by waiters.
Is the private beach dinner included in the all inclusive?
The Romantic Beach Dinner is an additional service which attracts an extra charge.
I follow a strict Kosher diet, can you accommodate that?
Yes. Please state your dietary preferences when you check in online.
What types of dietary needs have you successfully catered to in the past?
We have catered for lactose intolerant, vegetarians, vegans, pescatarians and individuals who are on a gluten free diet and Halaal diet. Please state your dietary preferences when you check in online.

Can I go off property for dinner/lunch? If so, any suggestions?
Yes, you can dine at nearby restaurants such as Julia’s on The Beach, OJ’s, Sheer Rocks, Dennis’, and Rokuni.

What age is regarded as an adult?
An adult is anyone 18 years of age and older as per the laws of Antigua and Barbuda.
Can our children travel with us?
Yes, once they are 18 years or older and each room will be occupied by two persons.
What does “couple” mean, can I travel with my mom, dad, friend?
A “Couple” means any two adults of any sex or with any kind of relationship. You do not need to be married or romantically involved. So it could be two friends, family members, etc.
Can I stay there as a single person in a room?
No. Singles are not accepted.
Can three people use a room?
No. Only two persons can occupy a room.
Do you accept same sex couples?
Yes, same sex are welcome at the hotel.
IN ROOM AMENITIES
Are the rooms air conditioned?
Yes, all rooms are air conditioned.
Does each room include a safe?
Yes, there’s a safe in each cottage.
Can we have champagne, wine, etc. in our room upon arrival?
Yes, complementary house Champagne and house wine can be placed in your designated room before arrival.

What do you mean by mini bar?
The “Mini bar” is a small refrigerator that is re-stocked daily with bottled water and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages you specify when you check in online.
Tea, instant coffee and an electric kettle are also provided in each room. Brewed coffee and coffee maker are available on request.
Is the mini bar restocked daily?
Yes it is.
Can I get Wi-Fi from my room?
Yes, complementary Wi-Fi is available in each room and throughout other areas of the property.
Why is a television not included?
Yes, complementary Wi-Fi is available in each room and throughout other areas of the property.
Can a television be requested for our room? Is there any alternative?
Televisions cannot be added to a cottage. You can however connect your devices to our complementary Wi-Fi to stream your favorite shows.
Do you have hairdryers in the room?
Yes, there is a hairdryer in each cottage.
What type of toiletries are available in each room soap, shampoo etc.?
Bathrooms are stocked with soap, bath gel, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper and facial tissue. Each room is also provided with hand sanitizer and mosquito repellent.
Does each room have an ironing board and iron?
Plunge pool cottages include an ironing board with iron. For other rooms these are available on request.
Do we need to bring adapters or transformers?
Cottages are 110v 60 cycles with North American 3 pin sockets. Adapters are recommended if you are traveling from the UK or Europe.
BEACH DINNER
How can I arrange a beach dinner?
What is included in the beach dinner?
Romantic Beach Dinners offer different menus from the All-Inclusive menus, and a privately set up Cabana on the beach with a private waiter.
How much does it cost?
Beach Dinners attract an extra charge of US $255.00.
Can I have my Beach Dinner at sunset?
Beach dinners are held simultaneously with dinner which begins at 6:30pm. At most times this is pretty close to sunset.
Would you recommend a Beach Dinner for a proposal?
Yes, Private Romantic Beach Dinners, with a candlelit pergola on the beach, will serve as an ideal setting for your proposal.
HOTEL SERVICES & AMENITIES
Is there room service? What does it cost?
Yes, this service attracts an additional charge of US $20.00 per trip to the room.
Does the hotel have a laundry service?
No, however, you can do your laundry at Burton’s Laundromat in the Jolly Harbour shopping area. It is a 5 minute drive from the hotel.
Is there a Public TV Room?
A television room is not on property but you can connect your devices to our complementary Wi-Fi to stream your favorite shows.
Is there a Gym?
No. Most persons opt to go running or walking along the beach for exercise. The beach is very long and suited to this activity.
Is there a main pool?
Yes, the main pool is accessible from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm.
Are there any water sports?
Yes, there is snorkeling and kayaking. Jet Ski rides and other types of water-sports are available from beach vendors.
Is there a Gift Shop?
Yes, the hotel has a Gift Shop. Here you can find basic toiletries, beach clothing, snacks and souvenirs.
GENERAL
What time is check in and check out?
Check in at the hotel is 3:00 pm AST and checkout is 12:00 pm AST.
Can we check out late?
You can request a complimentary late checkout on the day of departure but this is entirely subject to availability.
Are the beaches private?
By law, all beaches in Antigua are open for public use. However, the beach at the hotel is massive and almost always deserted save for hotel guests. Most times you’ll feel as if you have the beach all to yourself.
Do you accept pets?
No.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is allowed in outdoor areas of the property.
Are there lots of mosquitoes?
Mosquitoes are most active for a brief period during and shortly after dusk. You should always use the repellent provided in your room during the evening.
How are you mitigating against mosquitoes and other bugs?
We have our own in-house mosquito treatment system which is very comprehensive and environmentally friendly. It involves:
- Fogging and misting of the foliage and vegetation.
- The use of in2care traps in and around resort buildings.
- Treatment of standing water catchments with exterminating briquettes.
- We also provide free repellent and aerosol spray for rooms.
Is Keyonna Beach Resort related to Cocos?
Yes, Cocos Hotel and Keyonna Beach Resort are sister properties.
What type of current is used in the hotel?
Cottages are 110v 60 cycles with North American 3 pin sockets. Adapters would be recommended should you be traveling from the UK.

What room type would you recommend for honeymooners?
For a more memorable honeymoon, consider booking any cottage with a plunge pool.
WEDDINGS
How much does your wedding package cost?
The standard wedding package costs $1,500 plus 15% tax. This cost will vary if you need additional services etc that are not included in the package.
We just need something very basic is there anyway that you can customize the cost to our needs?

Can my guests who are children staying at another hotel attend?
Because we are an adults-only resort, children under the age of 18 would not be able to attend weddings at Keyonna Beach.
What are the maximum number of persons that I can invite as guests to the hotel as a part of my wedding group?
Because we are an adults-only resort, children under the age of 18 would not be able to attend weddings at Keyonna Beach.
Can children coming for the wedding stay at the hotel as well?
Yes, we can host a small wedding reception with drinks and hors d’oeuvres.
How long do I have to be on island before getting married?
You must be on the island for at least 2 working days before getting married.
Can we use employees of the hotels as our witnesses?
Yes, the resort’s employees can act as witnesses on your wedding day.
What type of cake is included in the package?
The flavor of your wedding cake will be based on your chosen preference. You can fill out a wedding planner form here.
Which photographers do you suggest?
We have a selection of in-house and contract photographers for you to choose from. Contact Reservations for more information.
Can I bring my own Minister to perform the ceremony?
No. An individual must be a legal marriage officer in the state of Antigua and Barbuda before they can officiate a wedding there.
CANCELLATION PENALTIES
What are your regular cancellation policies?
CANCELLATION POLICY
- For cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival there is a penalty of 30% of the reservation value. Cancellations outside this window attract no penalty.
- For No Shows, non arrivals and premature checkouts after arrival, 50% of the value of the booking will be charged.
- Extras booked prior to arrival may be cancelled at any time without penalty.
Cancellation is also penalty free where such cancellation is brought about by:
- Imposed travel and/or border restrictions beyond your control
- Hurricane or storm related force majeure that makes it impossible for you to travel as scheduled
What happens to my deposit if I book and have to cancel because of a hurricane?
You can opt to have it refunded or have it credited to a future stay.
Is there any recourse if I cancel during the time when a penalty is applicable?
Each situation is handled on a case by case basis. We are always willing to work with you and to understand your unique circumstances.
What proof do I need to prove I am unable to travel due to illness?
You can submit a letter from your physician to Reservations as evidence that you are unable to travel due to illness.

Do you have paddle boards?
The resort does not offer paddle boarding but you can arrange a paddle boarding session with a local beach vendor.
Do you offer kayaking?
Yes, the resort has kayaks, oars and life vests that you can use.
Do you offer jet skis?
The resort offers only non-motorized water sports. However jet ski rides are available from private beach vendors.
Do you offer snorkeling equipment?
Yes, the resort offers complimentary snorkeling gear.
Is it ok to snorkel on the beach?
Yes, you can.
Is it ok to do shore fishing?
Yes, you can if you have the equipment needed to do so and you must follow Antigua & Barbuda’s Fishing guidelines.
SPA
What are the operating times of the spa?
Spa treatments can be booked within the time slots of 9:00am to 4:00pm.
How do I book a massage?
You can contact reservations by email.
Do I have to pay for my massage before or can it be paid while on property?
You can pay for your spa treatment upon your arrival at the resort.
Are couples’ massages offered at the hotel?
Yes, we offer both couples and singles massages.
Can the massage be done outside/ in our room?
No. All Spa treatments & Massages are done in Wellness Cottage.
Do you offer massages on the beach?
No. No. All Massages are done in Wellness Cottage.
What are your policies regarding massaging pregnant women?
Expecting mothers should be past their first trimester of pregnancy before opting to reserve a spa treatment. If you have a pre-condition, submit a letter of consent from your physician to confirm that you are able to get a massage.

No, Keyonna Beach Resort is located in the Caribbean island of Antigua. When checking for flights please use airport code ANU.
Which side of the island are you located on?
Keyonna Beach is located on the west coast or Caribbean Sea side of the Island.
How are the beaches on your side of the island?
Calmer, with clearer water and free from seaweed.
Do you have a sea weed issue?
No.
CAR RENTAL
Would I be able to rent a car/jeep to travel around the island?
Yes, you can. There are many reputable car rental companies on island.
Does the hotel offer car rentals directly?
No. However we can help you make arrangements including having the car and all paper work delivered to you on property.

STAFF TIPPING
Is tipping expected/required?
Tipping is appreciated but not required. You may do it at your own discretion.
How do I leave a tip for the staff?
Tips can be given directly to a staff member, left at the front desk or charged to your card on checkout with your instructions.
What currency is used on the island?
Both EC and US dollars are accepted. Should you use US$, we suggest bringing smaller denominations (1s, 5s, 10s , 20s) in order to reduce the amount of EC dollar change you receive.
Where can we get smaller notes from?
Local banks in Antigua can provide you with smaller dollar notes. However, due to the long wait times, we strongly suggest bringing smaller denominations (1s, 5s, 10s , 20s) of the US currency.
GIFTS TO FAMILY OR FRIENDS STAYING AT OUR HOTEL
Can a family member pay for incidentals during our stay?
Yes, family members can pay for gifts to family/friends staying at the resort.
How can we pay for a gift for a friend upon arrival?
Contact Reservations and they will assist.
What type of gift would you suggest for honeymooners?
A bottle of champagne or wine upon arrival, an Art of Love Massage or a Private Beach Dinner are suitable gift options for honeymooners.

Is there anywhere nearby to play tennis?
Yes, a tennis court as well as tennis instructors are available at the nearby Jolly Harbour. The rate to rent a court is currently US$10.00 per hour. Rackets can also be rented for approximately US$7.00 each per hour. The courts are a five minute drive away.
If yes, how much does it cost?
Tennis is available at the nearby Jolly Harbour. The rate to rent a court is US$10.00 per hour. Rackets can also be rented for approximately US$7.00 each per hour. The taxi ride to the courts will cost approximately US$20.00.
Are there any tennis instructors? How much do they charge?
Yes, tennis as well as tennis instructors are available at the nearby Jolly Harbour. Tennis instructors charge US$60.00 per hour for their services.\
Are there any golf courses nearby? What is the cost/tee time?
Cedar Valley Golf Course is currently open with COVID safety protocols in place:
