The main differences between each cottage type are their sea and sunset views, proximity to the beach and, access to a private pool.

All accommodations are beachfront. No unit is more than a minute or two away from the beach.

The size of each cottage varies but for reference, each room is large enough to accommodate a king size four-poster bed, furniture and free movement.

Each room contains a king size four poster-style bed fitted with mosquito net, a chest of drawers, a full-size mirror, a study table with a chair, two nightstands, two bedside lamps, and a table. The private balconies have a hammock, Adirondack chairs and a table.

GETTING HERE

VC Bird International Airport. Our Airport Code here in Antigua is ANU. 

The resort does not offer a shuttle service however, you can arrange a private meet and greet transfer directly with the resort or take a taxi from the airport.

The hotel is approximately 45 minutes away from the airport.

Upon arrival, there will be a public taxi dispatch desk across the driveway as soon as you exit the airport terminal. Advise the dispatcher that you will be going to Keyonna Beach Resort, and you will be assigned a taxi to transport you to the resort.

The cost is US $45.00 per couple. The transfer should take 45 minutes and it may involve sharing a taxi with other arriving guests.

Bathrooms are stocked with soap, bath gel, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper and facial tissue. Each room is also provided with hand sanitizer and mosquito repellent.

Plunge pool cottages include an ironing board with iron. For other rooms these are available on request.

Cottages are 110v 60 cycles with North American 3 pin sockets. Adapters are recommended if you are traveling from the UK or Europe.

BEACH DINNER

Romantic Beach Dinners offer different menus from the All-Inclusive menus, and a privately set up Cabana on the beach with a private waiter.

Beach Dinners attract an extra charge of US $255.00.

Beach dinners are held simultaneously with dinner which begins at 6:30pm. At most times this is pretty close to sunset.

Yes, Private Romantic Beach Dinners, with a candlelit pergola on the beach, will serve as an ideal setting for your proposal.

By law, all beaches in Antigua are open for public use. However, the beach at the hotel is massive and almost always deserted save for hotel guests. Most times you’ll feel as if you have the beach all to yourself.

Mosquitoes are most active for a brief period during and shortly after dusk. You should always use the repellent provided in your room during the evening.

We have our own in-house mosquito treatment system which is very comprehensive and environmentally friendly. It involves:

  • Fogging and misting of the foliage and vegetation.
  • The use of in2care traps in and around resort buildings.
  • Treatment of standing water catchments with exterminating briquettes.
  • We also provide free repellent and aerosol spray for rooms.

CANCELLATION PENALTIES

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • For cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival there is a penalty of 30% of the reservation value. Cancellations outside this window attract no penalty.
  • For No Shows, non arrivals and premature checkouts after arrival, 50% of the value of the booking will be charged. 
  • Extras booked prior to arrival may be cancelled at any time without penalty.

Cancellation is also penalty free where such cancellation is brought about by: 

  • Imposed travel and/or border restrictions beyond your control
  • Hurricane or storm related force majeure that makes it impossible for you to travel as scheduled

You can opt to have it refunded or have it credited to a future stay.

Each situation is handled on a case by case basis. We are always willing to work with you and to understand your unique circumstances.

You can submit a letter from your physician to Reservations as evidence that you are unable to travel due to illness.

The resort offers only non-motorized water sports. However jet ski rides are available from private beach vendors.

STAFF TIPPING

Tipping is appreciated but not required. You may do it at your own discretion.

Tips can be given directly to a staff member, left at the front desk or charged to your card on checkout with your instructions.

Both EC and US dollars are accepted. Should you use US$, we suggest bringing smaller denominations (1s, 5s, 10s , 20s) in order to reduce the amount of EC dollar change you receive.

Local banks in Antigua can provide you with smaller dollar notes. However, due to the long wait times, we strongly suggest bringing smaller denominations (1s, 5s, 10s , 20s) of the US currency.

 

GIFTS TO FAMILY OR FRIENDS STAYING AT OUR HOTEL

Yes, a tennis court as well as tennis instructors are available at the nearby Jolly Harbour. The rate to rent a court is currently US$10.00 per hour. Rackets can also be rented for approximately US$7.00 each per hour. The courts are a five minute drive away.
